Atelier Project

This collection stimulates the deeper effects of colors vibrating from the world we live in and how we respond back to it. 
I have deliberately chosen the basic colors by transforming it with the abstract shape of light for this garment. I have discovered through my research process that these colors have the power to enhance basic human emotions. 

The print result is achieved by the laser-cutting technique directly on the fabric. It is inspired by the work of Masaru Emoto, where we can experience the influence of our words through water-crystals. My print is a translation of a single crystal which is molded by the word HAPPINESS. 

The light has a very important role in this dress, it brings life and takes it back with its transitory effects when we switch it on and off. Reminding us what is presence and what is absence.
